Unemployment Has Grown In All Poll-Bound States, Says BJP's Varun Gandhi

BJP Member of Parliament Varun Gandhi took to Twitter to draw focus on unemployment in all poll-bound states. He tweeted his written opinion, sharing the statistics of unemployment. "Instead of political populism, we need to urgently focus on incentivizing job creation," Varun said. Meanwhile, during his two-day visit to UP's Pilibhit, Varun said in the name of privatization, vital resources of the country are being sold.

AAP Candidate Bhagwant Mann To Contest From Dhuri Constituency: Punjab Polls

Bhagwant Mann, the 'CM Candidate' of the Aam Aadmi Party, will contest the Punjab Assembly election from Dhuri constituency.  Addressing the media, AAP senior leader Raghav Chadha announced the same.  Reportedly, Bhagwant Mann is a two time Lok Sabha member and CM candidate as per public's choice. North Korea Warns United States, Signals At Resuming Nuclear Tests

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has signalled to restart nuclear weapons testing amid threats by the United States. As per Korean Central News Agency, the officials set policy goals for strengthening military capabilities to counter the Americans’ “hostile moves”, in a Politburo meeting. The North test fired short-range ballistic missiles on January 14 & 16 in retaliation against the freshly imposed sanctions by the Biden Administration.

Kerala Reports Over 46,000 Fresh COVID-19 Cases

Continuing the rise in COVID-19 cases, Kerala Health Department confirmed the highest single day spike, over 46,387 fresh cases on January 20. Besides, the state reported 15,388 recoveries and 32 fatalities in the past 24 hours. With the new cases, Kerala currently has 1,99,091 active cases and 55,501 deceased. Meanwhile, a total of 1,337 people were hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment.

Schools To Reopen From Jan 24, CM Thackeray Approves Proposal: Maharashtra

Maharashtra schools for pre-primary to class XII students are set to reopen from January 24. However, the schools will function only in regions with low number of COVID-19 cases.
