1 Crore Devotees Expected To Take Holy Dip In Sangam On Mauni Amavasya

Over one crore devotees will take a holy dip in the Sangam in Prayagraj, on February 1. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the fair is being held with strict observance of Covid-19 protocols. The Mela administration has divided the fair area into five sectors. Two 50-bed hospitals, 12 health camps, and 10 treatment centres have been set up. Notably, Mauni Amavasya falls on the moonless day of Magh month.
