100 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals To Be Established In Next 3 Years: Railways Minister
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed Rajya Sabha that the ministry is aiming to establish 100 'Gati Shakti cargo terminals in the next three fiscal-year. On April 6, she said, "So far six GCTs have already been commissioned and 74 more locations have been provisionally identified for development of GCTs". With the new cargo terminals, applications and approval process will be hassle-free, boosting industries and cargo facilities with no commercial charges.
