1000s Of Security Cameras Installed In Tesla Factory, Jails, Hospitals Hacked
A huge amount of security-camera data collected by startup Verkada has reportedly been hacked, exposing live feeds of 150,000 surveillance cameras inside hospitals and companies like Tesla and Cloudflare. Hackers said they have obtained footage from 222 cameras in the Elon Musk-owned Tesla factories and warehouses. Taking responsibility of the data breach, one of the hackers, Tillie Kottmann, said they aimed to show the ease with which security systems could be broken into.
