UP: 104 Retired IAS Officers Demand Withdrawal Of Love Jihad law
Through an open letter addressed to CM Yogi Adityanath, a group of 104 retired IAS officers has condemned the 'love jihad' law that aims to halt forcible religious conversions. The bureaucrats demanded to "re-educate" police and politicians of the state about the Constitution. “You can pose no greater threat to the nation than by turning its own citizens against one another,” the letter read. It also sought the Courts' intervention "to stem the rot".
