13 States To Not Roll Out Vaccination For 18-44 Years Old On May 1
Owing to the COVID vaccine scarcity, 13 states will not roll out the inoculation drive for the people aged 18-44 on May 1. The states are Delhi, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Telangana, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. While the states have placed orders, the delivery of the vaccines may take more time. Nearly 2.5 crore people have registered for vaccination on CoWIN app.
