16 Year Old R Praggnanandhaa Defeats Dutch Giri In Chessable Masters Tournament
Young Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa reached the final of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour Chessable Masters tournament. He became the first Indian to reach finals after he defeated Dutch GM Anish Giri in a match. On May 25, Young Grandmaster scored 3.5-2.5, after the four-game rapid online semifinal. After Giri, R Praggnanadhaa will play against Ding Liren of China. Meanwhile, on his tremendous game, Praggnanadhaa's coach RB Ramesh congratulated him.
