2 Dead, Several Missing As Landslide Hits Japan; Rescue Continues
According to public broadcaster NHK, at least two people are dead and several are reported missing, as landslides hit Japan's Atami city on July 3 due to heavy rainfall. Governor Shizuoka said, two people were “found in a state of cardio and respiratory arrest", a statement used in Japan often before confirming the death. However, Police along with firefighters are searching for the missing people, rescuers, and other emergency officials.
