2 Villages Boycott UP 2nd Phase Assembly Elections Over Contaminated Water Supply

The second phase of Assembly Elections conducted on February 14, went smooth and peaceful. However, two villages Narau and Milaal Nangla citizens boycotted Assembly elections in Shekharpur constituency. Notably, the villagers took decision not to vote, due to contaminated water supply including drinking water. The water comes from Ujhani Municipality, which reportedly caused the consumers to fall sick, following which, they demanded solution and boycotted the second phase elections.
