24 Women Guide Wildlife Lovers In MP's Kanha, Pench Tiger Reserves

Registering active participation in state tourism, 24 women now guide tourists in Madhya Pradesh’s tiger reserves. Two tiger reserves - Kanha and Pench Tiger Reserve-National Park have 13 and 11 women guides each to escort wildlife enthusiasts. Moreover, the Forest Department plans to introduce similar guides at Pachmarhi’s Satpura Tiger Reserve. Interestingly, most of the 24 women are either sisters or the wives of the male staff of the department.
