25-year-old Pregnant Woman Dies of Medical Laxity in Rajasthan

A 25-year-old pregnant woman allegedly died of medical laxity in the Churu district of Rajasthan. The deceased has been identified as Ratna Meena and was a resident of Rampur village. After the girl's death, a skirmish broke out between the villagers and police. The family members of the deceased demanded Rs 10 lakh as compensation and refused to cremate the body. Reportedly, the villagers started pelting stones which injured several police officers.
