Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has declared the number of people arrested under violation of lockdown norms on June 22 in a tweet. Since lockdown, 1,33,730 offences have been registered under section 188 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and among them 27,446 people have been arrested, along with the seizure of 83,970 vehicle and accumulated fines worth Rs.8,41,32,461 from offenders.
