3 Jharkhand Congress MLAs Detained In Bengal After Being Found With Cash

Five persons have been detained in West Bengal, including three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand. The MLAs were discovered with Rs 50 lakh cash in their vehicles. A driver and an assistant have also been detained by police. On July 31, the three arrested MLAs appeared in Howrah District Court. Following the event, the Congress Party suspended three MLAs. The state CID has taken up the probe from Howrah Rural Police.
