31 Students Test COVID-19 Positive In Tamil Nadu Government School; School Temporarily Closed

Thirty-one students tested COVID-19 positive in Theni Government Secondary School in Theni district, Tamil Nadu on July 8. Additionally, 10 parents were also COVID-19 positive. According to the health authorities, pupils and parents at the school have been instructed to isolate themselves. The school has been closed temporarily by the District Education Department. The health department is working to locate potential contacts. District health authorities have sanitized the school.
