4 Maharashtra Industries Ordered To Shut For Polluting Rivers
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has ordered four industries to shut down for causing pollution in the Ulhas and Waldhuni rivers. Moreover, the MPCB has also issued a show-cause notice to the concerned municipal authorities for inadequate pollution management and damaged pipelines. Reportedly, the order came after an environmental group 'Vanashakti' filed a petition in the Apex Court about the pollution in the rivers.
