407 Of 755 Cases In Delhi Riots Await Investigation: Data

The Delhi Police data has revealed that 407 out of 755 cases registered in connection with the February 2020 northeast Delhi riots are still awaiting investigation. Reportedly, of the 755 cases, 62 are being investigated by SITs, one by the Special Cell, and the remaining 692 are with the northeast district police. Moreover, in 348 cases for which charge sheets have been filed, the police have named 1,569 people - 802 Hindus and 767 Muslims.
