Brigadier Vijay Mahadevan of the 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles said, "Terrorists carried out a barbaric cold-blooded murder of a 6-year-old boy at Bijbehaara where they started firing indiscriminately on a CRPF picket and thereafter fled.
