75% At Tokyo Olympic Village Already Vaccinated, Most To Be Done By Games

The International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach on May 19 said, almost 75% of the people residing in the Tokyo Olympic village are vaccinated or scheduled for vaccination. Bach emphasized that at least 75% of the participants will be vaccinated before the games. Interestingly, the statement came amid Tokyo 2020 organisers facing severe backlash to cancel/postpone the games due to COVID-19 infections in various countries.
