90% Militants Killed In J&K Were Locals, Said Officials

According to the police records, over 90% of the militants who were gunned down in the union territory of J&K in the first half of 2020 were among the local youths. Officials said that a total of 118 militants were encountered from the start of this year, in which 107 were locals. Vijay Kumar, IGP, Kashmir said,  "67 people have joined militants ranks this year, if any parent brings them back, no legal action will be taken".
