Ace Athlete Anju Bobby George Reveals Competing With Single Kidney
Ace Indian long jumper Anju Bobby George has revealed that she reached heights in her career with a single kidney. Reportedly, Anju struggled with slow recovery and frequent joint pains due to congenital solitary kidney condition. Besides, she was allergic to medicines. The Olympian won bronze for the Indian contingent at the 2003 World Championships in Paris. Several including Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju have lauded Anju's determination.
