Administrative Council Approves SCERT for jammu and Kashmir

The Administrative Council (AC) approved the establishment of the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) by merging the State Institute of Education Jammu and Kashmir. An official press release stated that the council will look after various sectors like health, human and child, education, etc. The press release further stated that SCERT will ensure training to 1.34 lakh in-service teachers, through the department of education.
