African Footballer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Announces His Retirement
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has declared his retirement from international football. The Barcelona striker played in 72 games for Gabon, scoring 30 goals, and served as captain. He is his country's all-time leading scorer, and he was named African Footballer of the Year in 2010. He has opted to concentrate on his club career after an early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
