After Twitter Ban, Nigeria Govt Switches To Its Indian Rival 'Koo'

After banning Twitter, the Nigerian government has planned to use Koo, a Bengaluru-based microblogging startup. Recently, Twitter took down Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet citing violation of behaviour policy which sparked the argument between Twitter and Nigerian government. Talking about lifting the ban on Twitter, Nigerian minister Lai Mohammad said, "First and Foremost, Twitter must register as a company in Nigeria". Koo founder R Aprameya welcomed the Nigeria’s move.
