Ahmednagar District Makes COVID-19 Vaccine Mandatory: Maharashtra
The local administration of Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district issued a 'no vaccine no entry' order. The order makes the COVID-19 vaccination mandatory to enter commercial, industrial, private, or public establishments, wedding halls, malls, cinema halls, restaurants, hotels, and government or semi-government offices. It is effective from December 25. Notably, the state has reported 108 cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus, which is highest among other Indian states.
