AIIMS Psychiatrist Diagnosed with Depression Died by Suicide

Twenty five year old junior resident, Dr. Anurag Kumar of AIIMS Hospital, Delhi committed suicide on July 10. Kumar was a resident doctor in the psychiatry department, and jumped to his death from the tenth floor of his hostel at the institute around 5 PM and was declared dead at the hospital, DCP(South) Atul Kumar Thakur confirmed. He had been seeking treatment for depression.
