Air Pollution To Increase Risk Of Developing ADHD In Children By 62%: Study
Children living in areas with air pollution have up to 62% increased risk of developing ADHD, said Barcelona Institute for Global Health researchers. "We observed that children living in greener neighborhoods with low air pollution had a substantially decreased risk of ADHD," said Matilda van den Bosch. The research was published in 'Environment International'. However, 1,217 cases of ADHD were identified, which is equivalent to 4.2% of the study population.
