Air Quality In Delhi Very Poor; AQI Reaches 339
Delhi's air quality has continued to deteriorate as the Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 339 on December 1. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientists, the AQI increment was due to dipping temperature. The IMD added that the wind speed, which is expected slow down from December 2, is likely to aggravate the issue. The Centre's weather forecasting wing SAFAR has also predicted the air quality to remain in the very poor zone.
