Airtel and Voda Idea: Pemium Plans Blocked by TRAI

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) blocked the premium plan services of Bharti Airtel and Voda Idea- Platinum and RedX respectively, on the basis of violation of service norms. TRAI stated that it is unfair for the people who do not opt for this plan. Senior officials from Voda Idea said that they are surprised by the decision and were given no opportunity to explain.
