Alcohol Based Human Sanitizers May Harm Pets, Suggests Vet Anushka
Anushka Iyer, founder of Wiggles.in, a veterinarian website, has advised that spraying human sanitizers on pets can harm them badly. The alcohol and hydrogen peroxide based human sanitizers may result in severe health-effects including unconsciousness, blurry sight, and even vomiting, she added. However, one can try vet-approved pet sanitizers which contain Benzalkonium Chloride, a natural germ killer. Pet sanitizers are safe even if the pets lick it and are non-toxic for pet usage.
