Amazon Prime Debuts Production; Co-Produces Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu'

In a first, streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has ventured into film production, co-producing Akshay Kumar-starrer Ram Setu with Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions. Besides a theatrical release at the outset, the much-awaited action-adventure film will enjoy global streaming on the OTT giant. Based on the tale of the mythical India-Sri Lanka Bridge from Ramayana, the Abhishek Sharma-directorial will feature Jacqueline Fernandes and Nushrratt Bharuccha.
