Amazon's Live-Streaming E-Sports Network & Twitch Report Data Breach

Twitch, Amazon's live-streaming e-sports network, announced a data-breach on October 6 without releasing additional specifics. An unidentified hacker alleged to have leaked Twitch data, which included details of the company's source code, clients, and upcoming games. According to a source, the hacker's goal was to "foster more disruption and competition in the online video-streaming space." Approximately 125GB of data was exposed, including information on Twitch's highest-paid video-game streamers since 2019.
