Due to restrictions on the streets for Covid-19, the Gay Pride energy was carried on to Global Pride, a 24 hour online event broadcasted live. It was replaced under the slogan: "Postponed, but still united". London Veteran campaigner Peter Tatchell wore a rainbow-coloured mask and led a group of 12 fellow activists to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the London Gay Liberation Front.
