Amit Shah Vows To Make Assam Flood-Free In 5 Years
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on February 25 assured Assam that the BJP will make the state flood-free in next five years if it comes to power again. Addressing the rally at Nagaon district's Batadrava, Shah said that satellite mapping is underway to identify areas and construct lakes for diversion of water. Shah’s promise came after Congress-led opposition questioned PM Narendra Modi’s silence over Assam floods. Besides, Shah also assured to solve the infiltration issue.
