Anand Mahindra Launches "Oxygen on Wheels" Initiative For COVID Patients

Anand Mahindra-backed automobile company Mahindra and Mahindra on May 1 launched the "Oxygen on Wheels" initiative with an aim to make oxygen readily available to hospitals and homes in Maharashtra. As part of the initiative, 70 Bolero pickup trucks have delivered 61 jumbo oxygen cylinders to 13 hospitals across Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, and Nagpur so far. Moreover, a direct-to-consumer model is set up to connect oxygen producers with patients in need.
