Andhra Pradesh Approves Formation Of 13 New Districts, Takes Total To 26
The Andhra Pradesh Government on January 25, created 13 new districts and issued a new official gazette notification under AP Districts Formation Act, Section 3(5). Andhra Pradesh, which currently has 13 districts, will now have 26 districts. The new districts are, Parvathipuram, Paderu, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Amalapuram, Eluru, Vijayawada, Bapatla, Narsaraopeta, Nandyal, Puttaparthy, Rayachoty, and Tirupati. These states are formed based on Parliamentary constituencies.
