AP Teacher-Magician Caste Spell To Debunk Superstitions

Chinta Shyam Kumar, a government school teacher in Vadapalli, Andhra Pradesh, is helping students to overcome superstitious beliefs with his magic. Popular as "Shyam Jadugar," he cast many spells at the school premises with logical reasoning to debunk the superstitions of villagers and students. It encouraged parents to send their wards to schools, without fear of spirits and 'chudials". For his unique approach, Shyam received many national and international awards.
