Apollo To Administer Free Vaccine To Children With 'Specified Co-Morbidities'

Private healthcare company Apollo, stated on October 25 that it will administer free COVID-19 vaccines to children with "specified co-morbidities," despite the fact that the Centre has yet to approve it. Covid vaccine ZyCoV-D developed by Zydus Cadila has obtained Emergency Use Authorization from Drugs Controller General of India and will be given to those aged 12 and upwards. Reportedly, Apollo anticipates receiving authorization to vaccinate children with co-morbidities soon.
