Apple iPhone 12 Boxes to Exclude Charger and EarPods to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Apple has revealed that its newly launched iPhone 12 boxes would not contain EarPods and chargers. The company will only provide a fast-charging USB C to Lightning cable. The move helps shrink the packaging which in-turn increases the number of packages per shipment, eliminating over 2 million  metric tons of carbon emission annually. Apple’s older models iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and 2020 iPhone SE will also no longer include both items.
