Apple Will Check iCloud Photo Uploads To Avoid Child Abuse Pictures
Apple Inc said it will enforce a system that administers photos on iPhones in the US before they are uploaded to its iCloud storage services. Apple aims to ensure no horrific images of child abuse are circulated. Reportedly, a database of such images will be recorded and will be translated to “hashes – numerical codes that positively identify the image but cannot be used to reconstruct them".
