Artificial Light Pollutes Environment, Disrupts Ecological Balance: Study
A study by the University of Exeter has indicated that artificial lights could disrupt the ecological balance and should be considered as another source of pollution. It further stated that artificial lighting on the planet is increasing by 2% every year and causing various disruptions ranging from hormonal imbalances to change in behavioral patterns of most species. It also urged all stakeholders "to think in terms of using it only when needed."
