Assam CM directs state police to arrest Garga chatterjee for his derogatory remark

Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal directed Assam police on June 18 to arrest Garga Chatterjee for allegedly making derogatory comments against first Ahom king Chao Luang Sukapha and Ahom community on Twitter. Bhasker Gogoi also lodged a complaint against Chatterjee in Dibrugarh district. A case has been registered under sections 294, 153A, 500, 506 of IPC with section 67 of IT Act, said Sreejith T, SP of Dibrugarh district.
