Assam To Soon Have NCDC Unit In Rani Region, Says Minister Keshab Mahanta

The Assam Government announced National Centre for Disease Control unit at Rani, Kamrup Metropolitan district. On July 22, Assam State Minister Keshab Mahanta confirmed the development, saying land, adjoining the community health centre at Rani in West Guwahati has been selected and directed the officials to complete the necessary formalities. The set-up is a part of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's Ayushman Bharat scheme in India.
