Astronomers Find Binary Supermassive Black Hole In Gravitational Blazar
One of the most luminous and energetic entities in the binary supermassive black hole in gravitationally lensed blazar was discovered by astronomers from Argentina, Spain, Italy, the United States, and India. They observed periodic double-peaked flaring episodes that occur every eight years, with a gap of around two years between two flare peaks. After observing such incidents, they created the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope, a global optical photometric monitoring campaign.
