Australia Bans Direct Passenger Flights From India Till May 15
The Australian government has announced a ban on all direct passenger flights from India till May 15. Australia's national security team has taken the decision to avoid new COVID-19 variant from entering the country. Earlier, the country had announced to minimize the number of citizens able to return from India and other red-zone countries to curb the virus. Besides, all returnees have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine in Australia.
