Australia Recognises India's Covishield Vaccine

Australian PM Scott Morrison released a statement on 1 October, recognising India's Covishield Vaccine. It has put India's Serum Institute manufactured Covid-19 vaccine under its list of 'recognised vaccines'. Yet, it is still unclear if this decision will at all help the Indian tourists and students as they're still asked to present vaccination certificates by the Australian authorities. Unvaccinated travellers will be asked to quarantine at hotels for a fortnight.
