Autowalla Who Sold House To Educate Grand Child Gets 24 Lakh Fund

A crowd-funding initiative of a storyteller website fetched Rs 24 lakh to a 74-year-old Mumbai-based auto driver, who sold his house to support his granddaughter’s education. After being surfaced, the website shared the septuagenarian Deshraj’s story on their platform with ‘Pawri’ twist that helped them cross Rs 20 lakh limit. Reportedly, after losing two sons, Deshraj became the sole breadwinner for a seven-member family and forced to sleep in the auto.
