BBC Nominates Rani Rampal, Koneru Humpy For 'Sportswoman of Year' Award

BBC has nominated Indian hockey skipper Rani Rampal, chess-ace Koneru Humpy and shooter Manu Bhaker for 'Indian Sportswoman of the Year' award. Besides, wrestler Vinesh Phogat and sprinter Dutee Chand are also in the run. The winner will be decided via public voting open till February 24 and will be announced on International Women's Day on March 8. BBC also announced to host ‘Sports Hackathon’ to add over 300 Wikipedia entries of 50 Indian sportswomen.
