Beginning Operations, Akasa Air Launches Inaugural Flight On Mumbai-Ahmedabad Route

The inaugural flight of Akasa Air between Mumbai and Ahmedabad took off on August 7 and was launched by Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M Scindia and MoS General Vijay Kumar Singh (Retd.). On August 5, India's newest airline, Akasa Air, began accepting reservations for its first commercial flights from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi. Flight reservations may be made via the mobile app or the website.
