Bengali Actor Yash Dasgupta Joins BJP Ahead Of West Bengal Elections

Giving another jolt to the incumbent West Bengal government, actor Yash Dasgupta joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on February 17. With Dasgupta, several other members including Ashok Bhadra, Mallika Bandyopadhyay, Papia Adhikari, and Tramila Bhattacharya joined the party in the presence of state BJP chief Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mukul Roy in Kolkata. Receiving party membership, Yash said, "More youth should come into politics for the betterment of the country.”
