Bengaluru Police Issues Notice To 300 Mosques, Temples Over Loudspeaker Issue
In Bengaluru, over 300 temples, churches, mosques, pubs, clubs, and others have received notice from the city police, on April 7. Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant, issued a notice, asking the aforementioned establishments to keep loudspeakers at permissible decibel levels. The move came after the right-wing activists were demanding the removal of loudspeakers outside the mosques in the city. The temples, mosques, and others accepted the orders.
